Winston-Salem recently decided to form an entertainment district downtown, building off its successful experience with an arts district and an interest in encouraging development by clustering certain types of venues. An entertainment district could be drawn in downtown Greensboro, possibly near the former site of the Flying Anvil close to Lotus Lounge, Studio B, Elsewhere, the parking lot that hosts City Market, Artistika, the future location of Gibb’s Hundred Brewing… you get the picture.
