Former Greensboro mayor Robbie Perkins and Greater Greensboro Entertainment Group are holding a press conference this morning to announce a new venue with a national presence that they are bringing to Greensboro. Seems like all the smart money says this has something to do with the House of Blues.

Author Louie Crowder is giving a book reading/signing at the Breathing Room in Winston-Salem beginning at 7 p.m. Details here or in the print issue of Triad City Beat!

Or, Harry Potter is showing at the Carolina Theatre. Details in yesterday’s Daily Beat.
