• High Point City Council members Jim Davis and Jason Ewing, who respectively represent wards 5 and 6, host a town hall meeting at Deep River Recreation Center, located at 1529 Skeet Club Road, at 7 p.m.

• The Wrecking Crew, the West Coast studio band behind some of the biggest hits of the 1960s and early ’70s, is honored in a film of the same day screening at A/perture Cinema in Winston-Salem at 8 p.m.

• Matty Sheets hosts open mic at New York Pizza, located at 227 Tate St. in Greensboro, at 9:30 p.m.
