951It’s a relatively quiet Thursday in the Triad, at least compared to the last two weeks. That should give you plenty of time to relax, check some longer running exhibits, try one of the restaurants we’ve written about recently, or spend some time at one of these events.


There is an all day Youth Mental Health First Aid Training today beginning at 8 a.m. in the Central Meeting Room at Goodwill Industries in Winston-Salem.

TEDx Greensboro is happening all day today, too — read about it in this week’s cover story.

The Greensboro City Council District 4 community budget meeting is tonight at 5:30 p.m. Lindley Recreation Center. At the same time, the Guilford County Council of PTAs hosts its award celebration at Northern High School.

Jimmie E. Ford speaks at GTCC’s  commencement  at 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
