The city of Greensboro hosts a poverty summit, starting at 10 a.m., that will include mayors and city staff from cities around the state. The meeting is at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum and is open to the public. It will be the first in a series of quarterly events to address poverty.

El Azteca and Tipsy’z Tavern food trucks join Wickerbach for Tunes @ Noon at Greensboro’s Center City Park.



Camel City Grill, Luciano’s Tacos, Kona Ice and Street Meat team up for Tim Fest, a food truck festival hosted by St. Tim’s (2575 Parkway Dr.) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The 512 Collective (at 512 E. Washington St. in High Point) hosts Dinner with a Side of Culture tonight at 7 p.m. The event will feature a special guest, muralist the Lost Cause.

Also at 7 p.m., Reanimator in Winston-Salem hosts a show featuring Tomten, Knives of of Spain and 1970s Film Stock.
