Luke Bryan’s re-do: The great snowstorm of 2014 interrupted a scheduled pre-Valentine’s Day performance of bro country hit-maker Luke Bryan at the Greensboro Coliseum, but he’ll be making right with fans during his sold-out show at the Greensboro Coliseum tonight.

The people’s business: City councils in both Winston-Salem and High Point meet tonight. The Winston-Salem City Council (agenda posted here) meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, located at 101 N. Main St. The agenda is rather light, but being that it’s the second meeting of the month, that means there’s time allotted for public comment, which also makes the proceedings interesting. High Point City Council (agenda posted here) meets at 6:15 p.m. at the Municipal Building, located at 211 S. Hamilton St. Word to the wise, the Committee of the Whole Finance Committee meets at 4:30 p.m. Translation: The whole council meets an hour and 45 minutes before the official meeting to discuss financial business. They often vote at the official meeting on issues they’ve hashed out during the finance committee. Both meetings are open to the public. The earlier one is where the sausage is made.
