Stone Brewing, the San Diego-based craft brewer wooed by Greensboro and other cities for its East Coast production facility, will go to Richmond, Va.

So indicates a report by Richmond Times-Dispatch today.

From the Times-Dispatch story:

After an all-out push that included the installation of a kegerator in Virginia’s Executive Mansion, state and local officials are expected to announce today that Stone Brewing Co. has chosen Richmond for a coveted new production facility, the brewer’s first in the eastern United States.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe is scheduled to make an economic development announcement today at the mansion, and multiple sources confirmed that the announcement will focus on the San Diego-based company.
