Anna Judd left Venice Beach, Calif. on March 22 on foot, putting in about 30 miles each running day in her quest to run across America to raise awareness of the plight of US military veterans.
I found her in downtown Greensboro yesterday, a day off from the road, where she was shopping and taking in the scene.
She told me 22 vets commit suicide every day. I personally know several homeless vets, and a few others with PTSD.
We can do better by these soldiers who gave so much for our country.
Go get ’em, Anna.
