Daddy Issues, the Greensboro combo that burst on the scene last year with an infectious brand of girl-group garage pop, establishes a beachhead in Winston-Salem tonight, with a show at the Garage.
Echo Courts, also from Greensboro, includes our former intern, Kelly Fahey. With fragile vocals and reverb-laden guitars, they wend a tangled path through gardens of pop pleasures.
Trunkweed from Baltimore trods similar ground, albeit with a thinner sound. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Great show. Trunkweed actually sounds way different (read: better) live, and Echo Courts was totally solid, too. Still waiting to hear a Daddy Issues single on the radio.
