The Greater Greensboro Republican Women’s Club hosts a candidate forum for candidates for US Senate and NC Supreme Court at Starmount Forest Country Club from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Among the Senate candidates who have confirmed are Dr. Greg Brannon, Mark Harris, Ted Alexander, Heather Grant and Edward Kryn. Thom Tillis, the GOP candidate to beat, has reportedly declined the Republican Women’s invitation. Among the judiciary, the club has received confirmations from Judge Mark Martin and Judge Ola Lewis.
The Downtown Business Improvement District Advisory Committee holds its organizational meeting in the Public Works Conference Room on the third floor of City Hall, located at 101 N. Main St. in Winston-Salem, at 2 p.m.
The M/WBE Citizen Advisory Committee takes over the conference room at 4 p.m.
