Two new editorial interns, Anthony Harrison and Sayaka Matsuoka, joined the Triad City Beat team today. We received a number of strong applications for the internship program and ultimately decided to pick two people.
Matsuoka is a graduate from UNCG’s art history program and is also currently interning with the Elsewhere living museum. Harrison, a recent Guilford College graduate, wrote for the Guilfordian student newspaper. Both are Greensboro natives.
Look for their bylines starting in the Dec. 23 issue of Triad City Beat, which will come out a day early next week because of Christmas. Harrison is already working on a Greensboro music story and Matsuoka is covering an art story in Winston-Salem.
Triad City Beat is also hiring an investigative intern, and today was the deadline for applications. Expect an announcement shortly. Thanks to everyone who applied for either internship program, and of course to all of you for reading!
