The High Point Mural Project is bringing the Lost Cause to town, and they want your help.
Ryan Saunders and the mural project posted an indiegogo campaign soliciting funds. They hope to raise $2,000.
“The goal is to use murals as a calling card and billboard for our cities creativity and willingness to support and nurture our creative class,” the post says.
The Lost Cause, whose real name is Winston Whale (what a better name to go by!), is based in Portland, Ore. but is well known for his work much more broadly than the Pacific Northwest.
Triad City Beat recently wrote about Winston-Salem artist Kendall Doub’s new mural in High Point, which is designed to be a showcase of the kinds of things the High Point Mural Project is aiming for and capable of creating.
