It’s crafts this Saturday and toys the next at Greensboro’s cathedral to the nerdly arts, beginning at 9 a.m.

Hand to Hand Holiday Market @ the Carolina Theatre (GSO)


The annual Hand to Hand Market takes over the Carolina Theatre for a one-day smorgasbord of shopping delights, including food trucks and a NC Beard & Mustache Club beard-off.


Deck the Halls @ Sawtooth School for Visual Art (W-S)


The Sawtooth’s biggest fundraising event of the year opens tonight with a sneak preview at 6 p.m. The market stays open until Dec. 22.

Arc of Greensboro Holiday Open House @ the Creative Center (GSO)

“Pottery and art work created by talented individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities” mark this holiday sale, which begins at 4 p.m.

FRIDAY, Dec. 5

First Friday Indie Market @ Lewis and Elm streets (GSO)


Every First Friday in Greensboro the Indie Market comes to life in an activated space by the tracks on South Elm Street.

Art for the Holidays @ Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts (W-S)

Bookmarks, Associated Artists and the Sawtooth come together for this annual craft fair in the cultural heart of the city. Hippo Records/Underdog Records first annual Greensboro Record Fair @ the Blind Tiger (GSO)


Everything the vinyl junkie in your life in this one-day affair at the venerable rock club. It’s worth mentioning that Hippo is based in Greensboro and Underdog is based in Winston-Salem — Triadwide!

Krankies Craft Fair (W-S)


The first day of the godfather of DIY, locally sourced, artisan market is Friday, when the wares start moving at 5 p.m. What’s left gets sold on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.
