FaithAction reports that 575 people have turned out for a community ID drive at the SouthEast Plaza Shopping Center in Winston-Salem today.

The number of people who showed up to sign up for the ID far exceeded organizers’ expectations. FaithAction Executive Director David Fraccaro told Triad City Beat earlier this week that he was expecting 200 to 300 people. A similar drive in Greensboro last month drew 375.
