Libby Hill Seafood announced this morning that it will close one of its four Greensboro locations.
May 9 will be the final day for the 1100 Summit Ave. restaurant, the staff found out this morning. The locally-owned chain operates five other locations, including one in Reidsville and one in Mount Airy.
“For the past 37 years, we have had the pleasure to serve you at this location,” company president Ken Conrad said in a press release. “But as with many things, it must come to and end.”
The building was constructed in the 1950s by JW Marriott, years before the man built his first Marriott hotel, according to the press release. The years have worn on the building, contributing to Libby Hill’s decision to close the location.
