The city of Greensboro has already paid out close to $100,000 to defend itself from a lawsuit filed by downtown property owner Eric Robert.
According to a document provided by the city today, attorney fees paid to Smith Moore Leatherwood are just $1,o09.10 shy of hitting the $100,000 mark. The most recent payment of almost $40,000 on Dec. 9 is also the largest, followed by the second most-recent payout on Nov. 4.
