Today Huffington Post writer Priscilla Frank featured the music video for Rhiannon Giddens‘ new song, written in response to the massacre at a historic black church in Charleston, SC, a month ago. [Update: So did Katie Presley of NPR.]

Giddens lives in Greensboro, as does filmmaker Harvey Robinson who created the “Cry No More” video. The music video is one long take, featuring several other locals on scene at the United Congregational Church in Greensboro. Watch it below, or read Frank’s HuffPo post here.
