A new post on the Huffington Post blog welcomes Triad City Beat to the independent media landscape.

The post, “A New Sheriff Is in Town: The Triad Welcomes a New Indy Paper,” quotes liberally from our mission statement, and briefly from yours truly.

“Triad City Beat’s Associate Editor, Eric Ginsburg says,  ‘We load the website several times a day with original, fresh content that doesn’t appear in print, including meetings and events, breaking news and evolving culture.’”

Victor Lopez, a Greensboro-base writer and Guilford College student, wrote the post. The piece concludes that our website is “certainly worth a gander,” but obviously you’ve figured that out already!

This isn’t an April Fools joke. We’ve already got that covered.
